The rules of the wreck
Submit one BeamNG gameplay clip per week using a public or unlisted YouTube link. Join the Cosmos Drives Discord and sign in to submit or vote on the site. Share clips you own or have permission to share. Every clip is reviewed before appearing publicly or opening for votes. Clips still awaiting approval when the week closes do not enter that contest.
One shared vote per Discord account each week. You can change your website choice until voting closes. A website vote takes priority over your Discord reactions. To vote only in Discord, clear your website vote and leave 🏆 on exactly one entry; multiple entries reacted to means no Discord vote until you remove the extras. Bot accounts do not count.
Website voting locks Sunday at 8 PM America/Chicago time. Discord votes use the closing reaction snapshot, taken when the weekly sync runs. Results appear once all closing snapshots are complete; service delays can postpone the announcement. Avoid changing reactions after the cutoff. Counts can take a few minutes to sync.
Most combined votes wins. Ties go to the earlier submitted entry. A week with no valid votes has no winner. Winners stay in the archive even after their homepage feature ends. Deleted or private YouTube videos may no longer play.
Keep it to gameplay. No real-world injury footage, harassment, or stolen clips. Cosmos Drives can remove unsuitable entries. Only your display name, submitted clip, and vote totals appear publicly. Discord IDs are used to prevent duplicate votes; individual voter identities are not published. Sign-in expires after seven days. Reaction lists and individual website votes are cleared 90 days after a week closes; winner records remain.
